Recently, we had the chance to watch Brad Paisley, before the official opening of his H2O Tour. It was an amazing evening of artistry, animation, music and excitement. What I didn't know until today, was all that he and his team went through to bring it to life. GAC presented a "behind the scenes" (see commercial link below) tour of the concert.
Watching it I was inspired by two things, one, the devastation of what had happened and what that means to a touring band, and two, how everyone pulled together to bring the vision of the H2O Tour back from the ravages of the flood.
One thing that Brad said on the show that is so true. In hard times, "people NEED entertainment." People always find the time and money for entertainment, even if it is only to rent a DVD, download a song or watch something on YouTube, people love to be entertained. It can lift us, make us cry, laugh, shout and so much more. And it is artists (even those technical kind) who make it happen. That's why I love artists. They are capable of such levels of creativity, passion and the energy to make it happen. Studio Kinate is the dream machine and those who have sacrificed and stuck by me will reap a great reward. We are making history, together.
